T3 Code

MemIndex works with T3 Code's Codex and Claude Code providers. It uses their existing MemIndex connections to record work and supply memory search.

Open T3 Code and set up one of those providers first. Then run this on the machine running the T3 server:

npx memindex@latest install --ide t3code

Restart T3 Code. Start a new thread in your project. If Codex asks you to trust MemIndex's hooks, approve them through Codex. Installation does not bypass that approval.

The installer reads T3 Code's settings. It installs MemIndex in each enabled Codex or Claude Code provider's configuration folder. It respects the provider's chosen program and home folder. It does not edit T3 Code's settings or database.

For a remote T3 server, install on that server. For a provider running inside WSL, install inside WSL. Running the command on the computer showing the browser will not configure a different server.

You can check or disable the connection with:

npx memindex t3code status
npx memindex t3code uninstall

Status checks the provider settings and plugin files. To confirm recording, do a small task in a new thread and check the MemIndex viewer.

Providers can share their configuration with standalone Codex or Claude Code. Removing MemIndex through T3 Code also disables it for those shared installations.

If T3 reports missing provider files, finish that provider's setup in T3 Code and run the installer again. The installer does not download T3's provider. See Troubleshooting for shared checks.
